- 12 stalks of asparagus
- 1/4 white onion sliced thin
- 1-2 cloves garlic, chopped
- Salt and pepper
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Preheat oven to 450.
- Wash asparagus and break off woody ends.
- Place stalks in groups of six on a tin foil-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle garlic and sliced onion evenly on top of the asparagus. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake in the pre-heated oven 10-15 minutes or until tender.
