  • 12 stalks of asparagus
  • 1/4 white onion sliced thin
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  1. Preheat oven to 450.
  2. Wash asparagus and break off woody ends.
  3. Place stalks in groups of six on a tin foil-lined baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle garlic and sliced onion evenly on top of the asparagus. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bake in the pre-heated oven 10-15 minutes or until tender.
